Ayesh Hospital is the only facility in Egypt exclusively dedicated to pediatric congenital heart surgeries and uniquely implements the concept of sustainability in healthcare services. We have successfully treated approximately 1,500 cases of congenital heart defects in children, including high-risk complex cases, achieving success rates that surpass global standards. Our experiences have been documented in prestigious scientific journals and conferences. Our current approach to sustainability in pediatric heart surgeries is noteworthy. Ayesh Association’s journey in the field of pediatric healthcare began in 2017 by establishing a private hospital for pediatric heart surgery. This project was implemented thanks to the efforts of specialized surgeons, headed by Dr. Adel El Gamal, who is considered one of the most prominent doctors in this rare field in Egypt. Thanks to God, we have performed more than 1600 open heart surgeries, saving the lives of more than 1500 children.
About the New Expansion of the Hospital in Tenth of Ramadan
In 2022, building upon seven years of accumulated experience and successive successes, and recognizing the urgent need to expand our services to accommodate more children due to the high demand in this specialty and lengthy waiting lists, approval was granted to allocate approximately 20,000 square meters of land to Ayesh Hospital. This strategically located site in the 10th of Ramadan City is near the airport and well-connected by various transportation means, ensuring easy access both domestically and internationally.
