Our Journey
2015
Construction of Ayesh Hospital began in Dakahlia Governorate, funded through self-effort and donations from well-wishers.
2017
The hospital opened, equipped with one operating room and several intensive care and inpatient units.
Three months after opening and treating the first 30 cases, the hospital achieved financial breakeven, initiating self-sufficiency.
From 2017 to 2022
Continued development of treatment capabilities and expansion of the hospital’s capacity to meet increasing needs.
Provided medical services to patients from within Egypt as well as neighboring Arab and African countries.
2022
The hospital reached its maximum operational and expansion capacity, handling 1600 surgical cases, and administrative offices were moved to the roof to create additional space.
Approval was granted for a new 20,000 square meter land parcel in the 10th of Ramadan City for further expansion.
2023
A board of trustees was formed, including some of the world’s leading pediatric heart surgeons, to enhance the medical and therapeutic vision.
January 2024
Completion of the engineering drawings for the first phase of the new hospital, designed to accommodate between 1,500 and 2,000 surgical operations annually.
October 2024
Completion of all construction permits for the project and readiness to immediately begin construction work on the new expansion.
